We have the VW Phideon, the new Citroen C6 and the chinese Ford Taurus.
The Phideon is powered by either a 3.0 TSI V6 petrol with 300hp mated to an eight-speed DCT sending power to all four wheels or a 2.0 TSI petrol with 250hp, eight speed DCT, and front wheel drive
Interior looks very Golf-ish
Looks tacky.
Prices are all pretty much the same for all these cars.
There are two engines available for the Taurus: a 2.0 turbo four with 245hp and a 2.7 turbo V6 with 329hp. Transmission is a selector operated 6 speed
Looks like a big Fusion.
Interior looks ok.
Wheelbase looks a bit smaller than the rest.
So many buttons, looks like something in the airport business lounge.
Time for the C6, not entirely sure I like the way it looks.
The engine is a PSA 1.8 liter ‘THP’ turbo with 204hp, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission sending power to the front wheels
Interior is the best looking and soberest of the bunch.
Full digital dash.
Meh.

That Phaeton looks good.

While the VW is a handsome car, I'll still take the Ford. I could probably find parts better too when needed.

Phideon, the Phantom is about 3x more expensive.

Oh. Still looks good though.

They look better than their US-market counterparts! The Phideon looks like a bigger Jetta.

None of the above. I choose the MG 7.

I like these types of cars, so it’s good to see them return.
Though they’re still no match for the originals, which is a bit of a shame.

You mean the Roewe 750

Out of the three, I’d go for the Phideon. But when it comes to Chinese-market luxo sedans, Roewe 950 all the way.
Underneath, it’s a LaCrosse, but I think it looks far better.

But I want the MG badge!

Earlier C6 better looking.

VW. It’s not even close.

Does it compete with the others?

Well, they are all new and produced in-loco

I agree, the old C6 still is one of my favorite cars.

It is the nicest looking.

I’d think so. It’s a similar idea, V6 or I4 FWD big comfortable sedan with a nice back seat, much like the above cars. Don’t really know about pricing though, assume it would be about the same as a Taurus and a bit cheaper than the C6 and the Phideon.

Here in US America there’s zero chance I’ll get to drive one. Sigh ....

Some made their way into the US via the diplomatic route if I’m not mistaken.
In Brazil they were imported in very limited numbers, no more than 10 I’m guessing.

Yeah - I saw some interesting things over the years when I lived in DC.

That is a C6 in the same way new Top Gear is Top Gear. Great cluster, though.
